Come visit the Slater Museum of Natural History; home to more than 80,000 specimens spanning the last century and a half from around the world.

In just a short visit, you can meet a polar bear up close, touch the most common owl in Washington state, or hold the "original" Cascade Frog! Visits are free of charge and family friendly.

Stop in during our weekly Open Hours, Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., to explore the collection with one of our student docents. Take a tour of the museum or just pop in for a few minutes.

If you are coming with a group of more than 10, please let us know before you arrive. Email Mary or Sal at
