Permission for Recording, Storing, and Distributing Recordings
The University of Puget Sound sponsors the Race and Pedagogy Conference to further scholarly communication in an important area of interest to many who may not be able to attend. As educators, we would like this educational conference to be made available to as many as possible for educational purposes, always respecting the protocols of intellectual property. As a presenter and participant, you retain copyright ownership of the materials you create and retain rights to re-use the materials in any manner you wish. Puget Sound will clearly connect your name as the owner of your presentation.
Puget Sound staff will digitally record videos of the conference and will deposit them in its campus repository. This digital archive contains historical and scholarly materials created by members of the Puget Sound community as well as conferences it sponsors. These videos may be shared openly with students, faculty, lifelong learners, and the broader world for educational, non-commercial use and the preservation of scholarship for future generations. For more info see http://dspace.nitle.org/handle/10090/108.
We seek your permission to record, store, and distribute recordings of your participation at the 2010 Race & Pedagogy National Conference.
