  • MathSciNet
    Full text database of Mathematical Reviews since 1940*. Contains reviews or summaries of articles and books that contain new contributions to mathematical research are given for approximately 1700 current serials and journals. About two-thirds of the items in MathSciNet are reviews, the rest are citations. More information.
    *Coverage of Transactions of the American Mathematical Society is 1900-1999 and Annals of Mathematics is 1884-1998 (1998-2005 is available through Project Euclid below).
  • Project Euclid
    Provides full text access to a small group of full text mathematical journals online.
  • Jarbuch Database
    Contains all of "Jahrbuch über die Fortschritte der Mathematik" (1868-1942).
  • arXiv 
    Full text e-print server. 
  • JSTOR
    Full text archive containing American Journal of Mathematics, 1878-1995, Annals of Mathematics, 1884-1996, Journal of Symbolic Logic, 1936-1998, and more. Includes an archive of historical statistics journals you can find by browsing by topic.
  • Academic Search Premier
    Covers all subjects in both academic journals and popular press sources. Contains lots of full text. 
  • Complete Dictionary of Scientific Biography
    Provides information on the history of science through articles on the professional lives of scientists. All periods of science from classical antiquity to modern times are represented. Part of the Gale Virtual Reference Library.
