Registration Information

Registration week for the Fall 2012 term will take place April 2 - 6, 2012. Web-based registration is offered for your convenience. If for any reason you do not find web registration convenient, or you need assistance, you may visit the Office of the Registrar (Jones Hall 013) or contact the office at registrar@pugetsound.edu.

If you are a matriculated student enrolled for the spring semester, a registration notice indicating your assigned registration time will be sent to your Puget Sound e-mail account. You can also view your assigned registration time through your Cascade account. You must resolve any registration hold with the Office of the Registrar, Student Financial Services, International Programs, or Academic Advising prior to your assigned registration time. You must also comply with the University's immunization policy. If you are on hold your registration notice will indicate the department you must contact to resolve the hold. Registration times are assigned by class standing and total units completed. Graduate students will register first, followed by Seniors, Juniors, Sophomores, and Freshmen. You may register at or after your registration time. Please note that registration will be closed from April 7 - 15. During this time you will be able to drop courses, however you cannot add any courses to your schedule until open registration begins on Monday April 16.

If you are an undergraduate student, you must obtain your registration access code from your academic advisor. You need to make an appointment with your advisor prior to your registration time to receive your access code. If your advisor is on leave or sabbatical, the department chair can appoint an interim advisor.

Transfer students and students re-admitted for the Fall 2012 term may register during open registration beginning April 16.

During open registration (April 16 - August 16, 2012) you may add and drop courses without permission from the instructor. Registration is closed again from Friday August 17 - Sunday August 26 .
