Sustainability Pilot Grants

The Sustainability Advisory Committee welcomes applications for pilot projects that will advance the university's sustainability efforts and improve the university's rating under the Sustainability Tracking Assessment and Rating System (STARS). A pilot project is a well-designed experiment on a small scale with measurable outcomes that enables evaluation regarding wider institutional adoption after the conclusion of the grant.

Complete the sustainability grant proposal form and submit to sustainabilitygrants@pugetsound.edu. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year. However, preference will be given to proposals received by March 11.

Proposals are evaluated based on a set of criteria judging the design and quality of the project, its feasibility, and its impact to the university and wider community.
