To check out a conference phone, please visit the Technology Service Desk in the Tech Center, located in the lower level of Collins Memorial Library. Please note that the new conference phones will only work with select wall jacks on campus, so please be sure to consult the Conference Phone Guide for a list of compatible locations. The guide also contains information about how to make long distance calls with a conference phone. A printed Conference Phone Guide is included with each conference phone.
Each conference phone has its own reserved MeetMe conference number. With this number, you will be able to create a MeetMe conference call that allows up to 32 parties to participate in the same call. If you would like to use a toll-free MeetMe conference number, you may reserve one in Outlook. Please note that the university incurs long distance charges, per minute, per participant when a toll-free number is used.
Once the MeetMe conference call is created by the organizer, participants simply need to call the MeetMe number to join in the conference call. Please see the Conference Phone Guide for more information, or contact the Technology Service Desk at 253.879.8585 or email@example.com.
