Please note these things before beginning the application:

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Enrolled in good standing as a graduate or undergraduate student at the University of Puget Sound.
  2. Maintain a GPA of 2.0 or better.
  3. Physically capable of meeting the requirements of foot patrol, emergency response, and tasks as assigned.
  4. It is encouraged that second semester freshman or above apply for patrol and dispatch positions.


  1. List as much work or volunteer experience as possible. Make sure that you describe your assigned duties as completely as possible.
  2. Applications are always accepted, and will remain on file for review when openings arise.
  3. You are aware that, should an investigation at any time disclose misrepresentation or falsification, the application may be rejected or you may be dismissed from the University of Puget Sound (UPS) Security Services if already employed.
