Responsibilities

  • Teach cello and coach chamber music.
  • Coordinate the chamber music program.
  • Perform as part of the Puget Sound Trio.
  • Other duties may include another area of expertise.
  • Recruit students.
  • Remain active and maintain a public profile as a performing concert artist.
  • Participate in departmental governance.

Qualifications

  • Master of Music required.
  • Record of notable experience and excellence as a performing artist and pedagogue.
  • Commitment to undergraduate teaching and liberal arts education.

Compensation

  • Salary commensurate with education and experience.
