After Commencement, you and your fellow classmates will leave campus to settle all over the country and in communities across the globe. As an alumnus/na, you can join the University of Puget Sound Alumni Council, the volunteer organization that represents more than 35,000 alumni living and working throughout the world. Your fellow alumni support regional clubs in cities around the country, including Chicago, Denver, Honolulu, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York City, Portland, San Francisco, Seattle, Tacoma, and Washington, D.C. Other Alumni volunteers have joined one of eleven Alumni Council committees working on everything from university admission efforts and campus programs to athletics and intellectual life.
You are invited to actively participate on the Alumni Council as a volunteer or to simply take advantage of the many resources that alumni and the university have to offer. If you move to an area that is new to you, there are fellow alumni who will be delighted to welcome you and give you “the scoop” about your new community, such as where the nice apartment complexes are, where to have your car tuned-up after your cross-country road trip, and hot nightspots you’ll want to check out. To help you stay connected with classmates and the university, as well as to make new connections with alumni from other classes, the Alumni Council offers a number of services, programs, and volunteer opportunities. For more information about alumni resources and to learn how you can be involved, visit the Alumni Council Web site.
