Previous Summer Opportunity Fair Employers (This list will be updated for 2015 as organizations confirm attendance. Meanwhile, use the list of previous participants to get a head start exploring organizations likely to have summer opportunities, even if they don't attend the Fair this year.)

Camp Seymour: The Pierce County YMCA’s residential camp located in Gig Harbor has a wide range of full-time camp roles: Cabin Leaders, Trips/Teen Leadership Staff, Day Camp Leaders, Unit Leaders, Waterfront Director, Pool Director, Adventure Area Director, Archery Specialist, Arts and Crafts Director, Activity Director, Health Director; and is also hiring for a summer internship.

Camp Wright: Annie Wright Schools in Tacoma is has full-time, part-time, and internship positions with their annual summer day camp program.

Northwest Folklife Festival: The largest community-run festival in the country is hiring for part-time summer employment at their late-May event. Many Puget Sound alumni working in the arts have gotten their start at Northwest Folklife!

Underdog Sports Leagues: The organizer of laid-back sports leagues in Seattle is seeking part-time summer employees to manage leagues in the sports you grew up playing as a kid—Dodge ball, Kickball, and more!

Red Salmon Canneries: Located in Naknek, Alaska, Red Salmon Canneries hires more than 300 staff for the canning season (mid- June and through July) for their 24-hour operation.

YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties: The local YMCA has full-time and part-time employment and internship opportunities in all of their Pierce and Kitsap counties locations.

Camp Orkila and Camp Colman: Run by the Seattle YMCA, these residential camps located on Orcas Island and Whiteman Cove (near Gig Harbor) are filling full-time roles: Camp Counselors (Overnight and Day Camp); Lifeguards; Challenge Course Facilitators; Horseback Riding Instructors; Arts & Earth Counselors; Trip Coordinators; Leaders for Sailing, Kayaking, and Biking; Unit Director; and Assistant Director.

Federal Way Community Center: The City of Federal Way’s main recreation center has full-time and part-time summer jobs: Athletics & Sports Assistant, Teen Camp Supervisor, Day Camp Leader I & II, Lifeguard, Beach Lifeguard, and Water Safety Instructors.
