Reset Forgotten Password or Username
To ensure the highest level of security and take advantage of all features in Cascade, we recommend using one of the fully supported browsers listed below. Other updated browsers, such as Chrome or Opera, are not as fully tested and supported but may work as well.

Cookies must be enabled on your computer to use Cascade. A "cookie" is just a number your browser stores until you close or log out. To see if cookies are working, try our cookie test.
If your cookies are not working, try the following steps in your browser (usually found under Tools -> Options):
- Enable cookies in your browser.
To do this in Internet Explorer 7, go to Tools-> Internet Options-> Privacy. Select Advanced and check to "Override automatic cookie handling". Make sure first party cookies are accepted and that "Always allow session cookies" is checked.
- Make Cascade a trusted site.

- Restore your browser's default security settings.
In Internet Explorer 7, go to Tools-> Internet Options-> Security. Select Internet and then Default Level. Then click Restricted Sites and Default Level again.
Open New Browser Window
Do not try to access Cascade through a browser window opened by an e-mail program such as Hotmail or AOL. Open a new browser window yourself and enter https://cascade.pugetsound.edu.
Check Settings for Caching
Your browser or local network may be caching (redisplaying) pages inappropriately. This prevents the next page from displaying on your screen, making it seem as though nothing has happened. To correct this problem, try the following:
- Set your browser to avoid unnecessary caching.
In Internet Explorer 7, go to Tools-> Internet Options-> General. Under Browsing History, select Settings. Under "Check for newer versions of stored pages", select Automatically and then OK.
- Ensure your computer's date is set correctly as this may be used to identify old pages.
- If you connect via a private local network (such as your employer), ask your network administrator if a caching appliance is in use.
Try Another Machine
Try accessing Cascade from a different computer, a different location, and/or a different local network.
