This session is for faculty who are interested in or have questions about leveraging social media for teaching and learning. In this hands-on LinkEd: learn to use Twitter and Facebook to connect with students, colleagues or experts in your field or areas of interest.
What to bring:
A laptop/netbook (can be checked out in advance through Media Services--book in advance). iPads or other mobile devices are NOT recommended for this session. If you do not have a laptop, you can check one out via Media Services or join us without one!
Optional:
Bring a colleague who is also interested in using social media!

Do you have clever strategies or are you seeking ideas for how to deal with electronics during class time? See some statistics about our incoming first year students and how that might impact teaching and learning with technology.
This session is a discussion-based gathering. Bring your experiences, ideas or syllabi to share and collaborate with your colleagues and educational technologists Kyle Cramer and Lauren Nicandri.
