Institutional Research Reporting Calendar
Management Information Reporting System (MIRS)
The Management Information Reporting System (MIRS) provides regular reports on admission, financial aid, student demographics, instructional work load, retention, and graduation. MIRS reports are categorized using numbers 100-900, both by content area and security level, and may be accessed via the Institutional Research Report Repository (IRRR) on Cascade.
A list of all of the available reports, both by title and release date, are available in the following Excel document: MIRS Release Dates
If you need to use a report to which you do not currently have access, please contact the Office of Institutional Research. The appropriate Vice President will be contacted to approve your request.
Every year, the Office of Institutional Research compiles a report of performance indicators that inform the strategic planning of the University. These indicators fall into nine categories: admissions, class size, cost of attendance, diversity, faculty, finance, financial aid, giving, and graduation/retention.
One set of indicators compares Puget Sound's performance in the most recent academic year to its performance in the same areas in years past. The second set of indicators compares Puget Sound's performance in these areas to that of its comparison institutions.
A list of the indicators and their release dates are available in the following Excel document: Indicators
Every year, the Office of Institutional Research oversees and administers a variety of surveys, both internal and external. A list of major surveys, corresponding reports, and their release dates are available in the following Excel document: Surveys
