Baker Stadium and Memorial Fieldhouse Seating
Family and friends should arrive at Baker Stadium between noon and 2 p.m., on Sunday, May 19. Tickets are not required to attend the Commencement Ceremony, so you may invite as many guests as you choose to celebrate graduation with you. In addition to the seating in the Baker Stadium bleachers, ground-level seating will be provided on Peyton Field. Seating will open at noon and is first-come, first-served. Seats may not be reserved in advance.
Families with guests in need of indoor accommodations are welcome to view the live video of the Ceremony from seating within Memorial Fieldhouse. Memorial Fieldhouse will open for seating at noon and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Seats may not be reserved in advance. Washington Weather, Rain or Shine
University of Puget Sound holds the Commencement Ceremony outdoors in celebration of the striking Pacific Northwest environment. Like the graduating classes before you, you might come to remember graduation in terms of the weather. The Class of 2013 could hold the record for the rainiest, hottest, or most beautiful Commencement Ceremony, so make sure you and your guests dress for unpredictable weather. There is no protection from the wind, sun, or rain; bring sunscreen, sunglasses, caps, rain-ponchos, and umbrellas. If rain is predicted, graduates and guests seated on Peyton Field will be provided with ponchos. Guests seated in the covered stadium bleachers should come prepared for inclement weather.
Considerations for Guests with Disabilities
Designated ground-level seating will be roped off for guests with disabilities; Commencement ushers will gladly assist guests in need of these seating accommodations. Wheelchairs may be rented for use during Commencement Weekend from the following Tacoma locations:

A limited number of handicap parking spaces will be reserved in the Memorial Fieldhouse parking lot. Please arrive early as this parking area is on a first come, first served basis and fills up early. Additional parking information will be included in the spring Commencement Newsletter.
