Student Organizations

A meaningful path. Worthy challenges. Making a difference in the world and in the lives of others. Student organizations are an integral part of the Puget Sound experience.

Three out of four Puget Sound students volunteer their time and skills to the community, one of the highest participation rates in service among U.S. colleges and universities. Past and current student groups have spearheaded an education campaign that resulted in a switch to fair-trade coffee in all the university's dining facilities, made unused food from the campus available to needy groups in Tacoma, and taught in and raised funds for the literacy initiative Kids Can Do!

Listed below are some of the student groups currently active on campus that are engaged in activities to promote diversity and make a difference in our community. More information on active student groups may be found on the ASUPS student government web site.
